Quick repaint for 019, only saw on Saturday. I've found you can tell when an ex-ATN unit is about to be repainted, as it usually makes it up to the North-West then put on a diagram that will let end up at NH.

I can think of a few 142 diagrams that finish on NH, off the top of my head the unit that does odd-hour xx.41 Wigans during the day, IIRC most of the 142 Southport/Kirkby-Rochdale and Southport-Airport diagrams finish at NH, as do the 142s on Cheshire Lines (Picc-Stockport-Northwich-Chester) diagrams and the Lime Street-Wigan NW 142s. Obviously these are subject to change at the timetable changes but historically these have been fairly constant.

rather than the list on page 1, what about the full list of units that northern have with each units number wrote in the colour that corresponds to the livery it is painted in .for example 158901 is red so that unit number would appear in red then when its painted it would change to purple that way it would be possible to keep track on what unit is in what livery and be possible also to see what units have not been painted also.

I like your idea Simon and if it was not the exam period, I would be doing it

Its a good idea in theory, however what would you do for the different examples of red or green or between the differing versions of the Northern livery?

the numbers could be shown in a diff shade of green or red as to identify the livery, this could be done by displaying a key at the side of the screen so not to confuse. the diff types of northern livery could be identified by using say lilac for northern 1 white with black outline for northern 2 and purple for northern 3 with say a letter next to the number as is done on page 1 to identify whether or not advertising vinyls are carried by that particular unit.

I THINK 153351 has also been done, on the front of 1524 MCV - LDS.

Anyone able to confirm?

It could have been 331, that's been trundling around on Calder Valleys today attached to a 155.

It certainly looked very clean too. It was on the Manc end when I saw it.

It could be 351, I only got a glance at it as I passed it, 378 (the last one I saw being done) has been done for a while so maybe they sneaked 351 in and C6-ed it without anyone knowing?

I'm gonna have to spend the day shuttling between Leeds and Interchange tomorrow to try and find it and be sure

The diagram should have ended at NL but the way things have been today stuff could be and probably is anywhere.

142019 still has its destination painted over, was at Leeds as well.

I'm sure you'll hate having to be on a train all day JsT. I had a nightmare yesterday about MerseyRail 142s on the ECML...I blame it on the cold/pain killers.
