Northern Railways

Anyone know what happened to 1C99 Paddington to Penzance sleeper on 19th July into 20th July. From LDB left Reading 1 min late and by the following junction it was 133 late. I went to sleep on it going one way woke up going the other way weird. Still managed to make it to Penzance only 13 late due to waiting times at places and slack timings.

GENIUS shows it going towards Westbury before turning around and heading back via Reading West then via Didcot.

Not sure exactly what happened.

So it did actually keep going down via Newbury then reversed to just before Reading but not actually into the station and via Didcot, Swindon, Bristol etc. So didn't leave Reading and stop for 2 hours and keep going the figures from LDB show the delay at the 2nd time it passed the junction.
